I am 13 and female. My grandmas neighbor is almost 14. I do have some interest in him, but I don't know if he likes me. We have never talked as we are both very shy. Yesterday, I looked at his house cause I saw his little brother. I looked in the reflection of the window and I saw him. He was pretending to swing a bat. He looked in the reflection of the window and saw me looking at him. He immediately stopped what he was doing. We were almost lost in each others eyes for 30 seconds. It felt so good. I snapped out of it and went inside. I came back outside and he was watching me. I was so nervous.

I have seen him watching me before. He doesn't come outside much. Does he have any interest in me?

I don't know if this belongs in this forum, but I just joined to ask this question.

Puppy love....very cute!

I know when I was 13, if I liked a girl(or 14), I'd look at her a lot. If he is constantly looking at you...then yes, he probably does like you. You could always ask and see. ;)

Umm. It certainly sounds as if he is self-conscious, awkward, shy. but what 14 yr old boy isn't. Whether he likes you is another matter. He would have to actually know you to like you or not like you for that matter. But he is curious about you and embarrassed by the fact that you caught him starting at you.

I am sure it does feel good. It flatters your ego, your self-esteem and that always makes you feel good. However, it doesn't necessarily mean anything more than that.

It's like getting an anonymous Valentine card. It makes you feel good but you don't necessarily need or want to know who sent it. On the one hand your curiosity might be 'killing' you but on the other hand actually finding out might be disappointing while the fantasy is more appealing.

You have a lot still to learn. Don't be afraid to ask others, on the Internet by all means, although be careful about some answers you might get, but in real life as well. Your parents and grandparents, for example, if you think they are approachable.especially. Some people grow older and older but learn very little because they don't ever seek proper answers to obvious questions.
