JWS3163 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 (edited) I'm in an objective mood, so I'm just going to compile all the facts in a linear order: My girlfriend is visiting her hometown for a few days for her brothers birthday. She told me her twin sister had sex with her ex (who lives in her hometown). She mentioned twice how it was "really weird". Last night, she told me she and her sister were smoking weed at their parents house. She gets very horny when she's high. I'm friends with her on Steam. She is friends with her ex on Steam too. I noticed something last night...she got offline a mere 5 minutes after him. (he did at 1:55, she did at 2:00) Today I just noticed that she de-friended her ex on both Steam and Facebook. ..What does this sound like to you? To me, all I can think of is that in her stoned state, she asked him to come over (he shuts off his PC, heads over, then she shuts off hers in anticipation of him arriving). They have sex. Next morning she wakes up guilty and resentful, and unfriends him. Someone please talk some sense into me. What do you think happened? I know I probably sound ****ing insane right now. No offense but this is cracking me up. You made up the whole story in your head. Talk about jumping to conclusions

Talk about jumping to conclusions I know, you're perfectly right to laugh at me. But...can you list possible alternatives to what happened? Because otherwise, you are asking us all to participate in what is a right royal perverse conspiracy where you have taken some pretty zany pieces of information and turned them, somehow, into "hard evidence". I ain't swallowing that sort of bait, that's for sure. And I ain't going to start joining in any sort of squalid conspiracy like that. Does your girlfriend actually have a track record as the community bicycle? If not, I would leave it well alone until you have some real evidence with which to beat her with. But then I reckon you probably just can't do that. By the way, are you the jealous type? Can you imagine yourself dishing out a bit of verbal or even physical violence over this sort of issue? If you do I would beseech you to break it off with her ASAP and seek answers elsewhere, possibly in a monastery. 1

Did I ever once say this was hard evidence? ...Did I even say this was evidence at all? ...Did I ever imply this was even likely? No. I said this was all that went through my head. That was it. I never said I was going to confront her or ask her about this. I am not a jealous type and I'd never be physically or verbally abusive. On the other hand, so does this; ex knows she's in town through sis, makes some moves maybe over steam, she shuts him down, he disconnects in failure, she goes to bed angry, then wakes up still angry and deletes him from everything. 3
