smile1983 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 (edited) My ex said he is going to use my blog as evidence to take my kids away. I need to know if there is anything to what he says. If you could read my blog and tell me anything that he could use I would greatly appreciate it. I know a blog can be used as evidence in some civil matters but I do not know if it can be used in a custody dispute. He has a lawyer and I cannot afford one. If I get one it would have to be through legal aid or something. If I had a lawyer I would ask them but I figured there has to be someone here who knows. I'm reading back over old blog entries to see which ones he might be able to use. The blog entries "Disappear" "Self-Reflection" "Attraction/Anger" "Custody" "Interview" and "Unrequited" are of some concern. The rest of them seem okay. The thing I am most concerned about is allusion to the person I liked and the instance of me slapping my ex. Edited July 20, 2013 by smile1983
It-is-what-it-is. Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Not a lawyer, and can't read the blog right now, but a couple things. If you are in US, most states are moving to a 50/50 custody arrangement unless one party or the other is criminal. Normal parental frustrations are unlikely to matter. If you are worried in any way, take a parenting class or something from community education, can't hurt right? You should be looking into legal counsel, ESP. Since your ex is a lawyer. Call legal aid and ask for advice on what to do. Good luck - wanted to bump your thread for more experienced folks.
