Then cut ALL contact with the Ex. Block her facebook. Delete her number. You can't expect to get over her if she's in your life, and you can't expect to give your current girlfriend a chance if you're not all there for her.

What is an acceptable level of time to be with someone while yr ex or a previous relationship is on yr mind. Do u wait until they fall in love with u so u can really hurt them.

 

Is it 3 months. Maybe 1 year.

 

Treat others as u want to be treated.
