NGC1300 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 I work with a woman that got involved with another male coworker. I don't know the extent of their "relationship", but apparently she thought it was exclusive, while he basically continued to have casual sex with other women. Well, she found out, and it seems not a week goes by where she doesn't start crying at work, or get upset over who he's "banging". I mean, this has been going on for months and she's still not over it. The thing is, they still "hang out", and he'll still do stuff for her and/or help her with stuff. They'll still have lunch together, etc. Maybe they agreed to friendship, or FWB, but what would explain her continuing to be around him when it's blatantly clear to everyone that it's causing her pain? I just don't get it? Is she just using him?

Author NGC1300 Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 if guys are close, why not talk to her about it. Wouldn't feel comfortable as we're not really friends or anything and maybe it's not my business. Some days I can almost see myself becoming attracted to her, but obviously that's out of the question with this other guy continually in and out of the picture.
Woggle Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Some people seem to love being abused and mistreated.
