Guys... if any of you have a guy who is a criminal and a women user/abuser as your role model then you have a big issue! Just my 0.02$

I don't believe women are attracted to thugs they're attracted to power and status and whoever has that depends on the time/area. In ****ty neighborhoods who has the power? The drug dealers and thugs and not surprisingly they get more ass then ANYBODY. Now... in the grand scheme of things do those guys have any REAL power? So, what I say to that is: if you want an STD riddled, drug addicted, alcoholic woman who dropped out of high school and has probably popped a few children out by the time she is 20 (and living off of welfare)... then sure, follow the OPs instructions. Thugs can have those sort of women! However, if you are looking for a decent quality woman, I would suggest not following the OPs instructions. Sure, some priveladged girls like these sort of guys, because they are going through a rebelious streek... but after they grow up, they will try for a quality man, and sometimes may land one, or sometimes they do not. They may have relative power in their neighborhoods, but compared to some men, these people have no real power what so ever.

The 21 year old woman in the first post is a white college senior from a good neighborhood. IT's not just "ghetto skanks" or trailer trash or whatever. It is "nice girls" from well off families. etc. Heck.... Did I ever write here about a girl named M who wanted to run ammunition to me across state lines. An act I found which would have broken federal law so I decided to get the ammo myself with a bit of help from her father. Hey, I had a woman willing to break the law, and lie for me. Goodfellas is my favorite film and one of the most poignant themes is women's attraction to a bad boy. When I was in my early twenties, I dated three thugs. One of them was a biker who was on the periphery of that life because he had a son and sold his bike. I learned that you never really get out of any motorcycle clubs. The only way anyone would guess this guy was a biker would be seeing his tattoos all over his back. He didn't even have the stereotypical long hair or beard. We broke up because the demands of being a single dad meant so many cancelled dates. Another thug was a spoiled brat who never worked yet sold weed. I was a naïve 20 year old and he was the "worldly" older guy who lived alone in the city. He was into other drugs as well and at that time, I found the fact that he was a dealer very exciting. I laugh at how stupid I was back then. I was a sheltered Catholic young woman who grew up in the suburbs. The last thug was a boy I met in high school. He had tattoos, wore a doo rag and had a wicked temper. He was also prone to disappearing from my life for years at a time and then suddenly resurfacing. I was in love with our story of being apart for three years and then getting back together; it was a cycle that started when I was 16 and ended when I was 22. I was very turned on by his lean and muscular body. He told me all the right things and even talked about marriage. This thug was very charming and romantic when he was around. I had the good sense to end any association with him after our last breakup. When I was 25, I met my husband. Though he drank and took drugs in university, that was simply youthful experimentation. I was taken by his intelligence, humility and passion under the introverted demeanor. I was done with the bad boys who never kept promises or lived awful lives. I matured and I was ready for a real man.
