Anyways I think there are men and women who are romantically interested in people who are no good for them. There are men who are very attracted to mentally unstable damsels in distress. There are women into thug types. I dont think its just a woman thing.

 

My ex left me for a woman who is into thugs. Her main interests is thugs. Her ex is a thug. She describes herself as 'crazy.' Her fb cover photo is her baby covered in dolla dolla bills. The funny thing is that with real thugs most people never know it. I know people who have been doing dirt for years and have never been caught and I think the reason is because to most people they are just normal and average folks. I have a friend who has been dealing weed for over a decade and he looks and acts like a computer nerd.

I have seen this phenomenon...I think its more of an issue of low self esteem for the women than anything else..If you have ever seen any of the show "Judge Judy" you will often see cases of somewhat well dressed, attractive women that usually have some money(more than the loser bf-but thats not difficult)..They either wind up having a kid with one of these idiots and are suing for support, or money that they lent them that they never paid back..Some might have drug issues as well and are drawn to the types that are more inclined to participate/provide for their habit..Pretty pathetic if you ask me..TFY

Thugs get women - they do. Some of those women have problems, others simply have no problem with the lifestyle. We call them "ride or die chicks".

 

It's inconsequential to me really - lots of guys I know get girls, thug or not. Thing about thugs when it comes to women is that they know who their targets are and they aren't shy about going forward about it. Some bad boys are actually a little more passive than others but in a way that conveys a level of power - perhaps psychologically they aren't even aware they do this. Women pick up on these things subconsciously - they aren't even aware they do either .

 

It's not a case of emulating the bad boy, but simply finding your "edge".

Not complaining merely observing a fact. If one is a thug there are women who seek that out. Usually women who have everything going for them will "date down". i.e. The college senior in this story dating a guy with a rap sheet and going on the run with him. I'd bet within a week they realize she wasn't taken against her will at all, and charge here federally for aiding him. smh

I want males to realize these girls who chase the thugs are not worth it no matter how hot, smart, or amazing they might be.

 

It's the same ideology I push when it comes to bad boys. If I see the girl is into bad boys, playas, thugs, etc...then I draw a line through her name and never make her an option. I think sensible women who meet "slut chasers" should do the same...just to be all equal here.

 

I want people,*male or female, to value themselves. To have the drive to improve themselves if they see a real need, like lose weight, go to school, read more, dress better, get into shape, build a career, be more sociable, etc...but to not ever feel like they need to be a "thug" or "slut" to get someone.

I think the point here is that a man with zero life goals, zero career ambitions, zero sense of morality/sense of self, disregard for all of the elements that help civilization function on a day to day basis are more sexually attractive than the average guy who works a responsible job and is a respectful citizen. The average guy is either in a relationship or he struggles to get into one. "Thugs" (such an ambiguous term) are usually never without female company and if they are, it's not for long. So in essence, it is more sexually rewarding to be a "thug" than to be an average guy who follows the law. Luckily, things that are "sexually rewarding" whether through actual sex or relationships with women are almost irrelevant when it comes to the grand scheme of the world. If someone gave me a choice between being the CEO of the next Microsoft and having sex with an endless stream of women or even having a relationship with one of them, I think its quite obvious what is the better choice.

Many women (and unfortunately men) have zero idea of what masculinity is or what it means to be a man. All this talk of "alpha males" have dominated popular discourse and people think if you don't have the loudest voice in the room or **** a lot of girls, you aren't a man. In fact, the only "real" barometer of masculinity we have now is virility. Being virile is a consequence of being masculine, you are not masculine because you are virile. A lot of women simply don't think of men who are virgins as "real men" because somehow along the line, it was acceptable to tie in virility as a crux of masculinity rather than something that happens because of it.

 

The only reason that there is a distinction between "alpha males" and "beta males" now is because there is such a large dichotomy between men now a days. A lot of men are very unmasculine because they have been shamed from doing so or they don't know how to do so. There's not really any outlets for exercising a healthy masculinity now a days. Most things that are supposedly male (drinking, video games, "lad lit", etc.) are either toxic to ones health, detrimental to the mind and spirit, and intellectually lowbrow. Things such as contact sports and fighting in school yards have pretty much all been diminished in favor of being politically correct. When my dad was growing up, he said if two boys had an argument, they'd go out on the field and slug it out, with the best man (boy) winning. It may seem violent now, but I feel that it was a healthy outlet that shirked off a lot of reckless energy. Obviously as boys grow up, they realize they can't fight every time there's an argument and I feel that socialization process helped that. Fighting, to me, just seems like a male thing to do to resolve conflicts when necessary.

I don't know how you got from my post that I wanted to be a "thug". My post was actually diminishing the importance of acting in a "thug"-like manner. If I had a choice between being an average guy who did the right thing with no women and a "thug" that had so many women in the world, I would easily choose the former. The benefits to acting like a "thug" are almost marginal.

 

Same thing with being the CEO of the next Microsoft. I would gladly do that than have my own personal harem, if life ever came down to those two choices.

Emerson wrote an essay on Compensation. In it, he says that there is a fundamental balance in life. If we want to gain something, we must give something up simultaneously. If I want to learn a new skill I must give up time in order to devote mastery to that skill. If I want to go see a concert, I must give up staying in and reading a book in order to see that concert. If I want something from the store, I must exchange my money for it in order to get it, becoming poorer in the process.

 

Many of my friends choose to devote their time to attempting to get as many women as possible, sleeping with them, and doing as many drugs as possible. They aren't really going anywhere. They haven't read any new books. They haven't broken any new ground. They haven't acquired any new skills over this summer. I should know, I would know. I burned and spent endless hours this past school year going to parties and bars with a fake ID in an attempt to crack the attraction formula as to how to get women consistently. I wanted to be sleeping with new girls every week. I wanted to wake up in some girl's bedroom after a wild night. I wanted the quintessential college experience. After the semester was over, I felt like a ****ing fool. So many wasted hours I could have spent being better at what I do. I bought into the bull**** that everyone could get a girl or everyone could be good with girls.

 

Some people live to be 100 and disease free, others die the minute they leave the womb. That's life. Some people are literally built to be sexually attractive to others - 6'2, good muscle size, good facial aesthetics, etc. Others are not. That's life. You might not be getting girls, but you could possibly make the next Under Armor, the next IKEA, the next Goldman Sachs. Or not.

 

In other words, **** it. Give it up. If I was a rich man (which I expect to have a good sum of in the next decade if things continue on their course), I would not be messing with women. I have already said this multiple times on here. Why would I be with a woman who wouldn't have given me the time of day 10 years earlier when I had nothing. I am not a high-status individual in my friend groups or on campus. Girls have pretty much nothing to gain from being with me, so they do not pursue me. I'm not aesthetic, I'm not rich, I'm not socially dynamic.

 

So for me, I just say whatever to getting girls. It wasn't for me. I wasn't made for it. My brothers were, my friends were, I'm not. I'm going to be 20 in a couple months and I haven't so much been on a date or had a sign of interest from a girl. It's quite obvious to me that from that alone, I was meant for other things.

Girls who are completely normal go after no good men all the time. I've seen it quite a lot and my brothers who are older than me know of some of their girl friends who do this consistently. I asked one of my girl friends why she consistently goes after bad guys and she said "I... I... I... don't know. I... don't... know" and she began to start to break down.

 

A lot of women just simply have bad taste in men. As I said before, this ties back into girls not knowing what masculinity is. The definition of a "real man" has been hijacked to mean a guy who ****s a lot of women, is sexually attractive to a lot of women, and yet somehow treats women with respect and will do anything for them. That's not it.

 

After seeing and hearing lots of occurrences and knowing that women will choose bad men over seemingly "neutral" men, I have come to a conclusion. I believe that the female sex drive has a slightly sinister edge to it, more than what we know. The male sex drive is seen as hard charging, overt, aggressive. I see the female sex drive as subtle yet very deadly. From women lying about number of sexual partners to prospective mates, to women exclusively going after bad men while having their logical head screwed on straight, to women supposedly "trading up", to women being more attracted to men who are already in a relationship, to women saying that they like virgins but rejecting them outright, I can't help but see the female sex drive as a bear trap hidden under a pile of autumn leaves. Ignorance of this has already taken too many a man down.

 

You can pin this on me as being a "bitter beta" or being a guy who "doesn't get pussy anyway" but I feel that the female sex drive has an inherently sinister undertone to it that all men must be aware of before they take that next step.
