I'm here again about this guy I met in match. We've been texting for almost 3 weeks now but we have not met.

We've been texting everyday since I gave him my number. And last night was the first time he called me but I was sleeping. So first thing this morning, i texted him back and no reply. Tonight, I texted him again around 7:30 and 3.5 hours later, still no reply. He used to reply to me as soon as he can.

I know this might sound stupid but am I just being paranoid that he has not replied back yet?

For online "relationships":

If someone called, not texted, me and I didn't pick the call up for whatever reason, I would call, not text, them back once I have the chance. Especially if that other person gathered enough courage to call me first after we have been texting for three weeks. That courage should be rewarded with a return call, not a return text.

Well, he called me when i was sleeping.

also, next day, he told me that he will be at a school for a volunteer program. that's why he was busy that night.

in addition, his working hours are different than mine. he usually does not reply to me until after 7pm.

i would have called, yes, that's the mature way of handling the situation. but i didnt.

but hopefully that's not telling me to back off especially after 3 weeks of non-stop text right?

What's stopping you from calling him now? I see a lot of excuses being thrown about here. To him, it probably looks like you're the one backing off. Return the call!

just an update. he did text me back yesterday and said he was just so busy at work.

i guess i almost killed the "relationship" for being so "needy" and psychotic.
