I'm single, been dating and pursuing women for 6.5 years now. My daughter is 13 and asked me about how to be better with her boyfriend. So, I'm working with her hard-core on one concept. And that is:

A real woman never raises her voice. And a real man never raises his voice with his woman.

So we've really been working on that a lot lately, and feel like she's making excellent progress.

But another real bit of advice I could give her about how to get a guy wrapped around her finger... should I give her that? FWIW, the real advice would be to 1.) initiate texting with the guy, let him know you think the world of him. Don't play games and make him wonder. Let him know how you feel. 2.) Laugh at everything he says. 3.) Always tell him how good looking he is, how you like this or that about him, how good he looks in this shirt, etc.. Always stroke his ego. Ladies, I'm telling you, stroke your man's ego, and the guy will be eating out of the palm of your hand.

I don't want to make it easier for teenage boys to seduce my daughter. Should I tell her these things?

So you want to teach your daughter how to be the woman you want? But at the same time teach her how to be the type of women you date?

No wonder the dating world is so messed up, broken people teaching broken concepts

At 13, I think you should be encouraging her to be less focused on boys and more focused on school, sports, hobbies, and developing herself into a strong, smart woman.

Clia, I'd like your post a thousand more times if I could!

OP, you should teach your daughter to be independant, ambitious and kind. To not ever compromise herself for a man or anyone else for that matter. To have goals and be strong enough not to be with someone just because its "the done thing". To not let a man take advantage of her and to also not take advantage of a man either. I've mentioned it before and I'll say it again - be kind. Dating and the world in general is a pretty tough place but "kindness is magic".
