With the summer season finally here and my a/c on full blast, my face is becoming increasingly dry. I have been using Ponds moisturizer, but it isn't doing much to help. I don't want to use a moisturizer that makes it too oily either.

Any suggestions on moisturizers? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a moisturizer either.

Mine is an expensive one because I don't like oily/greasy creams. I think all the cheap ones are oily though

I respectfully withdraw. Though I've been happy with Jack Black and Kiehls products for the guys.

Which moisturizer do you use?

Dermalogica Active Moist. Have to get some more, you've just reminded me.

I have oily skin which is good for delaying ageing but bad for congestion and I can get spots from your run-of-the-mill cheap greasy stuff. Dermalogica is water based and it's been the best for me personally over the years.

I looked online and the price isn't that bad.

Do you buy it from an online store, or can you get it OTC someplace? For a first time use, I would prefer OTC as it'll be easier to return if it doesn't work well.

I go to my regular beautician where I get my facials (see Hokie, I used the word 'facial'), she knows my skin very well, I've been going there for years. Have also tried Karen Herzog products but Dermalogica works best so far.

Not sure whether these guys would take a product back if opened but that's never been an issue for me. It's not really cheaper on ebay so I just buy it at the beautician's.

I use Neutrogena oil-free facial moisturizer, worked well so far. Goes for $15 a bottle at the supermarkets here.

What state do you live in? It's so humid here I don't even wear moisturizer and my skin is soft. I know when I lived in CA my skin was dry all the time, just like the weather.

I am also looking into handmade moisturizers and cleansers these days to avoid all the chemicals. The day lotion I use has spf 15.

Olay, just their standard stuff. I've used it for years and have had lots of compliments on how young my skin looks.
