Thousands of people reported having a paranormal experience. Also Lourdes, there are many documented healings that have occurred that the medical community can't explain.

Allegedly there were several glowing, silver discs that hovered in the air in the midst of all the "miracles". Keep in mind this was well before the concept of "flying saucers" became popular. 1
