BetrayedH Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Go to a mechanic shop and ask them to search the underside of the vehicle. Typically, the GPS device will be in a housing that magnetically attaches. It is pretty obvious. Usually in a wheel well. This is true. Mine was in a black box (about twice the size of a jewelry box) with a powerful magnet attached so that it would stick reliably to the undercarriage. That said, I was still afraid of it coming loose so I put it inside the car, under her seat. 1
Realist3 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Under the seat makes good sense. Even the glove box. Inside, during the summer temps can get a little high inside which can render the device useless. 1
Author bobwhite007 Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 Latitude, that comes on your android device, works pretty good untill that navigation app mysteriously dissapears from the phone.the navigation app on your cell phone comes from the factory and the phone has to be rooted before it can be removed. Red flag or paranoia?latitude is moving to google maps in august. But I don't think the navigator is leaving the phone. There are two navigatotors on most cell phones .navigator and deluxe navigator. Latitude is on navigator presently.
Realist3 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 The 'navigation" and 'local' app disappeared from my HTC One this week. Now its google maps
Author bobwhite007 Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 The 'navigation" and 'local' app disappeared from my HTC One this week. Now its google maps Ok then that's the first one that's said that.even the cell phone store couldn't explain it.chalk one up to paranoia.
Realist3 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I don't know what the reasoning was behind it but all my friends with android phones had the same thing happen. No warning, just poof gone.
Author bobwhite007 Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 I don't know what the reasoning was behind it but all my friends with android phones had the same thing happen. No warning, just poof gone.mine is still there
Author bobwhite007 Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 Leave it to me to find the raincloud among the silver lining. If she were innocent and you put her through this crap, she should be FURIOUS at you for calling her an adultress. But she's not. Hmmmm.... I just don't think I've put it put it all together and may never I gave u p too much too early.
BeholdtheMan Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 OP don't be a gullible idiot. Either A) your wife is cheating and playing you for a fool or B) your wife isn't cheating but she doesn't even care enough about your feelings to give you peace of mind I think A is much likelier. Time to walk and see how she reacts. 2
Realist3 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 mine is still there Hmmm... Interesting. I need contact my service provider and see if they have an explanation. Kinda bummed because I used the local app all the time.

turnera Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Good. Let her see your ANGER at her putting you through this. Have you read No More Mr Nice Guy yet?
Realist3 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Good. Let her see your ANGER at her putting you through this. Have you read No More Mr Nice Guy yet? He doesn't have anything to be angry over yet. He has had suspicions, and has not come up with anything. As he admits he went about this investigative process in not the best of ways. I'm sure he will still keep looking, but he has to build a case, and right now he doesn't have one.
turnera Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 IDK, 70 calls to a married plumber - who she then deleted - and entries into a meetup site is enough to get me angry at my spouse.
Realist3 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 IDK, 70 calls to a married plumber - who she then deleted - and entries into a meetup site is enough to get me angry at my spouse. You haven't read the whole story. Those were legit he discovered. And there hasn't been any entries into a meetup site.

It-is-what-it-is. Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Bob Why don't you just find a marriage counselor and start going with your wife. Obviously something's wrong and you need someone in real life to help you resolve this?
BeholdtheMan Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 first thing I gotta do is learn to control my emotions. She can read me like a book. ...and stop being an emotionally fragile doormat (trust me, being weak and accomodating will have the opposite effect to what you desire) 1
