Scarlett_girl Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 my best friend is having a little problem with a guy she met this summer when she was taking summer classes...i was with themthe entire and they seemed to have gotten pretty close with lots of flirting but he was leaving for a semester abroad in Sept. he told her to keep in touch so she emailed him and he wrote back- saying how great it was to hae met her in class and how they had to get some coffee when he returns. She waited a couple of weeks and then wrote to him.and now it's been almost a month since he wrote to her and she's getting paranoid that he is over her and stuff.. she asked me for advice..now i'm asking you all! I think he might be busy AND he probably doesnt want to start encouraging her feelings too much..he knows he's gonna be gone until march...do you an concur??

She waited a couple of weeks to write back to the guy? and she likes him? Maybe he's doing the same thing now. Tell her not to play that "it's his turn" game - if she really wants to keep in touch then she should just email the guy or write to him already!

He has a life, school and other things going on right now... You never know though..I think she should just write to him again...whats the worst that could happen...its not like she's going to see him face to face any time soon so she won't feel embarrassed.
