Hi, I am an 18 year old girl, and I live in Canada.

My boyfriend, soon to be 20, lives in the states. We have been dealing with a long distance relationship for quite a while now.

When I graduate college (May 2005), I will be 19. He wants me to move out to where he is, and get married. I love him with all my heart, and i know he loves me.

I'm just not sure if i should leave everything i have here behind. I don't know what to do.

Can somebody please give me some suggestions?

well, it sounds like Right at this moment, it is not what you want...cause that is what you said.

But Nothing is even going to Start happening until next may...so just chill, take it easy with the bf.

if in may you still do not want this, well then tell him, that you are not moving.

I do not know how you two are dealing with the LDR, and what your "rules" are, but hang out with your friends, do your thing, and see where you are (like as a person, point in life, etc..) in May.

If you have a doubt then maybe it's not the right thing to do. When it's time to marry you will know. Sure you might feel nervous or anxious, but you will not have your doubts.

Damn right.

Never EVER marry someone unless you have absolutely no doubts or hesitations. People should only get married because they really want to. Not because they have to.

Gotta agree with the others - if in doubt, don't do it

Also, don't think that you can move there, get married & then stay there. Do some research. You'll have to go through all the immigration procedures from Canada before you can set up house & home in the States. I know more than one person who made the mistake of thinking that because they were married they could move to the US & then do the paperwork. In most cases it does not work like that.
