LOSTnMT Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 So I posted on here awhile back about a 14 year relationship I got out of. Lots of emotion about it lately but its been 1.5 years since its been over. About 6 months ago I created a FB account using a friend of a friends picture and have been adding "friends" and keeping it updated semi weekly. I have more "friends" on that account than I do on my real one. Well about a month ago my ex messaged me and asked if I knew a friend of mine and when I said yes, she asked if I knew ME. I told her I think I met me a few years ago and really didnt like ME that much. Well this is getting totally out of control now, a friend of mine is helping with the responses to her messages and she is totally into me. We have been playing on things that I know she likes and tugging heartstrings on things dear to her. My friend and I even got a prepaid phone so we could text her and he has had to fairly short conversations with her. So this past weekend she asks to meet after a very exhaustive email/message campaign we have had going for about 3 weeks. I say OK and send her to this new restaurant downtown and then dont show up. She says she sat there for 2 hours waiting, messaging and texting. We dont respond to any of them and just sit there laughing about he whole thing and coming up with a reason why I didnt show up. So yesterday we text her and apologize and tell her some family stuff came up and it was unavoidable but we are sorry. She is pissed for awhile but then calms down and wants to meet again. So my question for you guys is.........where should we send her and what should the excuse be for not showing up again? Ladies...how many times can we get away with this before she gives up?

This wasnt planned this just happened, we created the account for another reason and got sidetracked. You are right about one thing I havent dealt with a lot of the bad stuff thats coming up lately about this whole thing. You have no idea why we started doing this, its not a defense its an awesome side effect. You have no idea the kind of person I am either, your knee jerk judgement based on one thing I have done would be like me labeling you a snob who looks down on people because of the way they post. You also lack an incredible amount of reading comprehension since you never answered either of the questions I originally asked....and then compared it to cyber bullying what a liberal tapout that phrase is!! We set the account up so this guy could hit on him. (Travis is EXTREMELY homophobic) We sent flowers to him at work from this guy with a card that says "I miss Us" Now hes put in the position of denying the whole thing which makes him look like hes lying. We just tell him we dont care if hes gay as long as hes happy. We are always pulling **** like this on anyone of us at any time. I know women wont get this but there isnt anything I wouldnt to for my buddies and they feel the same way which is why we can swing on each other like this and laugh about it when its over. Like I said this is just an awesome side effect from the original plan.....and like Eddy said its AWESOME and classic.

If you cant find humor in this, the only explanation is because you are a woman and one of yours is getting duped. Its funny and it isnt about revenge, its just about it being funny as hell.

If you came here looking for validation of what a great guy you are... you aren't going to find a whole lot of support here. You're an older guy with a kid. Shouldn't you be a little more mature than this, instead of acting like a frat boy? Did it even occur to you how this might end? There is legal precedent of someone being convicted for leading someone to commit suicide after they used a fake internet persona to get them to fall in love. eddyctv Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 When i was in college, i was dating this girl for a semester...she liked me and all my friends said i should date her because they thought she was hot. So i said why not. It turned out she was a dud. Very quiet, just kind of sat there....there was ZERO chemistry. Anyway, at the end of the semester, things were kind of falling off between us, just because I didnt really care about her. I left to go home for winter break without saying goodbye to her, and on the way home i realized i didnt even have her home phone number to get in touch with her (this was before internet and cell phones). So, whatever, i didnt really care. The next semester rolled around and we avoided each other. Then one day i went out to my car, and someone COVERED it with all this junk...ketchup, mustard, birdseed, all sorts of sticky goo. I was like WTF!?!?! I went back to my dorm room and told my roommates. They couldnt believe it. Then out of nowhere, my ex came to my room....I hadnt talked to her since the semester before...she said she wanted to borrow a CD...as soon as she left my room, me and my roommates all said it together "She did it" HAHAHA... She got revenge on me for being a jerk to her. I deserved it, and we all had a good laugh about it.
