Leegh Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 I plan to send a reply email to a guy I recently met. He sent me an email about the possibility of getting together, although he did not actually ask me out. When I reply to him, I want to sound interested, but not too interested (as I don't want to scare him off). How could I phrase just a short sentence or two that I am very interested, without coming off as desperate? It's a catch-22, as I want to encourage him but not scare him away? Thanks for any suggestions in what I can say to him in my reply to his email!

I'm free either Thursday or Saturday. You get to choose." 1
Author Leegh Posted July 8, 2013 Author Posted July 8, 2013 What did his email say? "Want to get together sometime?" You could respond with, "Sure! I'm free either Thursday or Saturday. You get to choose." He was vague, just said "maybe we should go out sometime". I like what you suggested for me to say to him, and I'll use it. Thanks
stormymonday Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 I would just say something like "I would like that. Let me know when." 1
