SJS Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Sorry to bump an old thread, but I was just curious as to what the outcome was... My (at the time) 4 year old went through this, and it turned out she had type 1 diabetes, so when I read things like this it makes me nervous!
GorillaTheater Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Sorry to bump an old thread, but I was just curious as to what the outcome was... My (at the time) 4 year old went through this, and it turned out she had type 1 diabetes, so when I read things like this it makes me nervous! It's been a month since Rebel has been on LS. I hope she comes back, because she was a good poster. Hope your daughter is okay.
Ryan_Talon Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Punishing her (however mildly) is only going to add more stress to the situation, she doesn't want to be doing it, or letting you down in anyway, I'm sure if she could stop herself she would. I know you worry about your kids and you try anything but I think with something that is often stress related putting more pressure on her is only going to make it worse. Have you tried for say 3 weeks or so not making a big deal of it what so ever and seeing how she is then? Ryan
