hellischrome Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 So, yesterday I was chatting and drinking wine with my girlfriends, talking about my situation and about their stuff as well (and that was good), at some point for some reason they leave the table and as soon as I find myself alone I send him an e-mail. I don't have his number anymore, so I emailed him... I don't think the way it ended is right. Which means pretty much NOTHING, I know, I just wanted to have some kind of contact... and now it's worse, cause he didn't get back to me of course (I wrote 12 hours ago, and I know he reads emails constantly. Now he is back home dealing with family stuff and seeing his ex maybe, so maybe he is not connected all the time but I know him, he doesn't spend 12 hours without checking his emails). He will be back next Thursday, if by then he doesn't even drop me a line, I will feel horrible. If he comes back and doesn't drop me a line not even after he's back, I will feel even worse. I want to tell him how I feel, because it's not fair that he ignores me, but I don't know what to do.
Sneaky Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 You can start NC again, knowing what you know now. There's no use in breaking it since he doesn't respond and it makes you feel worse, right? So now you know and you can start again.
aloneinaz Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 You need to leave him alone. I'm sure he saw the email quickly and simply choose to ignore you. I don't know your story but if he ended it or you ended it, either of you have a right to disappear and not engage with each other anymore. You said what you needed to and he didn't respond. Let it be. Go NC and move on w/your life. Nothing good is going to come out of searching for closure or a last conversation about the failed relationship. You're better off channeling that energy on working on you and your future w/out him.
