Hey all, new member here and need some advice on this small matter.

I just joined a company and after about 2 weeks i dated out my colleague who I thought was interested in me. (through her body language). She laughs at my lame ass jokes and i catch her looking at me sometimes. We messaged each other and i would call her every other night for that 1 week.

She knows i like her too coz I told her. She HAD a boyfriend and was going to break up with him.

Our first date went well, no resistance when I hugged her, nothing more beyond that though. Kissed her on her forehead too.

After she broke up with her boyfriend, things got a little weird. She was like she wants some time to get over it and all that, which was totally fine with me. However, now when we text, it feels like she's just patronising me, from her answers, which i hate. She also said, lets be friends first and see how it goes coz she needs time to get over her recent RS.

LETS BE FRIENDS FIRST. Is that GG for me??

So now i'm totally ignoring her in the office and i have totally broken off communications with her for the past 4 days. Wondering what would the right move be. Anyone?

How were you "dating" her if she had a boyfriend?

She was going to break up with him. So was i moving too fast?? Should i take it slow, play it cool and ignore her now?

Sounds like you've done it correctly so far. The right next move is continuing not to move. She's actively pushed you away. Going after her now would be pathetic. If she wants you back she has to earn it. Besides, office romance is usually a nightmare anyway.
