Right, so I'm pretty fresh out of a relationship with a woman that works where I do.

It lasted about 3 months, before she suddenly stopped acting interested. A week later, as expected given the signs I was getting, she dumps me over the phone. At present, the amount of work I have is too demanding for me to emotionally dwell on past relationships, so I go into no contact and naturally move on.

About two weeks later, it turns out she had unresolved feelings for her previous ex, who I also work with and (formerly) got along with pretty well, and now they're back together. This isn't what's bothering me, though, as I've started seeing other women and no contact worked its magic.

What's bothering me is that a majority of the people in our workplace, particularly those that know my ex and her ex, have simply stopped talking to me. People that I used to be able to talk and laugh with for hours now barely reply to a "hello". I was convinced that drama like this doesn't exist beyond high school / college, but apparently I was wrong?

Has anyone had to deal with this kind of workplace drama before?

Does it go away over time?
