racoon5 Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Long story short Ex gf dumped me went to another a guy a week later, 4 months later she broke of with him a day later she texts me that she regrets it ever breaking up with me bla bla bla yadada, that it doesn't matter what she says to me anymore yadayayda. Now a week down the road she texts me stuff like hey , that stupid smile i get on my face when i watch that small film i made about how fast you coudl eat that whole bowl of popcorn. And stuff like omg my cats gave birth u can have one, u should come and check it out. I'm not into her anymore, but i don't want to hurt her it's clearly she's not over me, the way she looks at me when i walked past her at the supermarket. God How can i say it in a nice way that she has to leave me alone. Any tips.....?

First, it's going to be somewhat painful for her because she is dealing with regret, but that should not keep you from setting her straight. You respond in person, by phone or text to her NEXT fishing attempt... "Xgf, I don't want to give you the wrong impression. While I remember "fondly" much of our time together, our time has passed and I don't believe in going backwards. I wish you the best, but I don't want to be friends (or" all we could ever be is friends") Key words here are "fondly" sorta lukewarm and neutral, don't give hope of more. "Passed" - history, done, ovaaaa "Much" or alternately use "some" to gently reference the end complexity (cheating?) Friends ...zone, nuff said She can politely pretend you misunderstood and you can say, "I want to be a stand up guy and not lead you to believe there is any hope for more" Good luck 1
SimonSerenade Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Man what a load of bull spit (ls won't let me say the naughty word lol) so things with the other dude didn't work out and now she wants you back, only now, your strong and don't want her back, in your shoes I would just say "look I gave up on you a long time a go and I didn't sit around wondering what if, I got over it, I don't want you in my life so please I'm asking you nicely to leave me alone", that ought to do it if not go to the cops and get her crazy ass arrested.
