buzzie2 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 There is this guy that I know really likes me, and the other day I was walking outside and I saw his best friend walking and staring at me from across the street. When he saw that I knew he was staring at me he quickly looked away, and then I saw him stare at me again and then he did the same thing and looked embarrassed. Does this mean that his friend and him have been talking about me for him to stare at me and look away like that?

When a friend displays interest in another, people get curious so they stare, attempting to ascertain why the fascination. This is the danger point for herd mentality when friends get competitive with each other. In PUA language, this is called social proofing. It's why nerds flock to the flavour of the moment, most popular women.
