If you were to read some of the previous threads I've posted, I've been dealing with a break up for the past 3 or so weeks, and we were forced to live together until she could move into her new place. She just finished moving out this evening.

She took my best friend with her. His name was Otis, and I raised him from a puppy. I allowed this to happen, of course - She could give him a better home than I could and since we were both moving out, she was able to find a place that allowed her to bring the dogs with her. I could not. (Our town has a pretty uniform strict policy on big dogs, aside from a very select few expensive places.)

I don't really know why I'm posting here, but I've been reading other people's stories a lot lately, and posting a little advice. I guess it's part of my coping mechanisms, or something weird like that.

I guess I just needed to vent a little. Thanks for reading, if you got this far. I'm gonna go drink for my best buddy now, in hopes that he'll still be as happy as when I first took him home and he pooped on my carpet the minute we got in the door.

No Contact begins tonight, which should be somewhat of a relief.

Thanks. Breaking up is (usually) hard to do, no matter what end of it you're on. I sure do miss that pup though.
