I've never really been dumped either or pushed away all that much so not sure where that stands in the 'used' department. I know lots of men I would never trust though so...

What's sad is, usually the men that are loyal when in a relationship are the kind of men these same women reject. Oh the irony of it all 1
TG1 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 If anything us guys are cheated on more and used by women nowadays, so it is definitely a double standard type way of thinking, thinking that it only happens to you women when the fact of the matter is, is that it doesn't, well not as much anymore

It's just that most people prefer to bury their head in the sand, convince themselves that their situations are different and things are somehow going to magically "work out". 4

Yes, I see that a lot as well. I'm sure all the liars, players and cheaters immediately think "no, I won't write to her because we're not compatible". 1

With this being stated constantly, how often does this behavior of betrayal go on for? Some women go through their whole life without ever getting played or cheated on. Many get betrayed once or twice, but they learn lessons and thus know how to spot the cheaters/playas. And then there's the rest who suffer from low self-esteem and/or they're holding on to the fantasy of "rich, sexy, exciting alpha male who commits", and thus they get easily played over and over. They are also the ones who end up on OLD in their 30s and 40s proclaiming how they're "sick of the liars". I agree with most past opinions that a woman or even a man who states that kind of stuff on a profile is someone you're better off not contacting. They show their baggage/damage clearly, and I'm pretty certain they're still not going to "change their selection standards", but more hope for a "reformed playa" or "reformed princess" to come along. And people wonder why they're on OLD for years?

I am proud to announce that I have never been played lol It is impossible for me to take "smooth talkers" seriously. The kind of bull**** that I have heard come out of a mans mouth just so that he can sleep with me is AMAZING and it blows my mind that these men get their way with some women. 1
