You will always be my first love"

"Its really hard not to call you"

She wants to friendzone you. Ignore her.

All she wants is to relieve her guilt. She doesn't want to continue feeling like she's a bad person for dumping you. This does not mean she wants to get back with you, she even said she's happy now.

Its over and she is trying to deal with guilt. If you respond she wins.

This isnt about you its about her and her dealing with her problems.

Trust me

Text block her. You need to heal.

I would honestly be pissed off after that first text. I agree with the rest, ignore it.

You shouldn't even justify this with a reply. You have better things to do love, and if you don't, find some!

It's ****ty because I still really love her

If you love her do not reply.

If she wants to get back together (as I'm assuming you do), showing her that you are strong and independent is the best thing you can do right now.

She dumped you and moved on. She then rubs it in your face "I'm really happy now". How do you love a person like that?

You need to move on and find someone else. As soon as you do, you'll forget all about this current ex.

She might as well have texted:

"I'm so happy with my new relationship I'm texting you to see if you still care. Ain't being ME wonderful?"

Ignore.

You guys thank you for the input. I cant help that I still love her. I have been in several relationships before this one. This one was so different from the rest, I wish i didnt love her still even though this is a ****ty situation.

^^^ This. When you know someone is hurting don't rub their face in it...especially if you want to be cordial in the future. It was a douche-ette thing for her to do.
