irish boy Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 hi im new here to cut a long story short, my girlfriend sarah and i were freinds for 2 years before we got with each other, were now with each other another 2 years and we had a beautiful baby in june. its a little hard since were both 19 and live apart but our families are being great. i have been out of work for 10 months now and i have decided to turn my **** around and get a job now, 2 months ago sarah and myself stopped talkin and didnt see each other much since she started college, i was playin the stubborn game at first but now im desperate for things to go back to normal, i had to force an answer out of her because i was left not knowin for weeks, and she finally said she wants to be freinds, but i cant do that, i just couldnt, she says she still loves me but avoids talkin to me about it because it hurts her i think. she wants me to leave her alone for a few weeks, her answer to everythin i say is " i dont know" i feel like a bitch coz i cant help crying everyday, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE, im so desperate thanks

That is FOREVER... the option to not have contact or not be friends isn't there for you any longer. Regardless of what happens or doesn't happen between you and Sarah romantically speaking... fact remains you've got a child together and that means you are both going to have to grow up, stop playing games and do the right thing for your little person. I am in no way suggesting that you must be Sarahs best friend or call her constantly.. however the option to have nothing to do with the mother of your child just isn't there for you. Your child deserves to have BOTH a mom and a dad whom love and care for him or her... Good Luck
