Now, before you picture the typical secretary type on a big company, let me tell you, it's nothing like that. It's a very small company, just one office, and the girl is rather average. It's all very informal. Anyway, I think she's cute and I'd like to ask her out. The only interactions I've had so far are when I'm paying my insurance. I go over there, she comes to the door of the building, I go inside to a lobby, there's usually just the two of us, I pay her, she gives me my receipts and that's about it. So I need to come up with something in those 2 minutes. Any ideas?

I dunno, I have never considered going out with someone that I consider to be "rather average". Rather, I would find a girl that I was truly interested in and say "Hey, do you wanna get together for drink sometime? There's a new place that opened up near ___ and I've been wanting to take a pretty lady...."

There's a new place that opened up near ___ and I've been wanting to take a pretty lady...." Well by standars she is, that said, I LIKE average. Also, I'm a bit shy and trying to get out of my comfort zone. But it's not that, it's that I have 2 minutes tops to do anything. What can I tell her? Should I just go and ask her out of nowhere for a drink or something?
Lansing Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Sounds like an infatuation. You haven't even talked to her and are attracted to her just based on looks. You probably know nothing about her at all. What makes you attracted to her? You have the potential to come off pretty creepy.. Just make it as casual as possible. Try to talk to her for MORE than 2 minutes... Next time ask how her weekend was, etc. If she doesn't give you any info or try to keep a conversation going she is likely not interested.
