Hopeinme Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 After my exams ended, (a month after the breakup) I immediately went on holiday. I have had an amaziiing timeeee and now the holiday is ending. I hate this feeling of having to go back and I hope I dont start feeling miserable or depressed.
Els Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Wasn't it you who said that you needed to find something to keep you busy?
Author Hopeinme Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 Yes. But I ll miss being on holiday!
Els Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Ahhh, we all do. Holidays all the time would probably get boring after a while, though! 2

Chi townD Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Good for you!!! Holidays are great for distressing and decompressing. Plus, it's great to get away and experience new things; to see new things and meet some interesting people! I understand what your saying with being a little depressed about the holiday ending. And what I usually end up doing is come up with an idea of where I want to go to next. Figure it out, do the research and do the math to figure out how much I need to save up. This gives me something to do and something to look forward to. I'm always and constantly looking for my next adventure. To be honest right now, I'm currently on vacation at this very moment! That's why I haven't been posting much for the past few days! After this weekend, I'm back home, but I'll be looking for my next adventure! 1

Chi townD Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Yep! I agree, when you get back look for that job! But, also be on the look out for that next adventure. Once you land that job, your probably going to earn 7 vacation days for your first year. But, you can break those days up and make the most out of those seven days. Make them fit inside the weekend. For instance, take three vacation days on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. You should have Saturday and Sunday off. Catch a flight Tuesday after work to get to your destination, if it's still early enough, you can enjoy your first evening away on Tuesday. You'll spend 5.5 days away and only burn 3 vacation days. You just got to work around the system. But, land that job first.
