kkitty Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 My boyfriend and I were together for 7 years but he decided to move out 2 weeks ago because he needs time for himself. He's been texting me every couple days and asking to see me since the break up. I wasn't responding much but I finally agreed to see him yesterday. We had a casual lunch and filled each other in on how we've been adjusting to our new lives but it felt a little awkward since we are both still hurting. I'm not sure if it was a good idea because I was finally getting a little used to the breakup and now that I saw him again, it just opened up the wound again. Seeing him gave me hope and I miss him even more now. I know it doesn't change anything and that he still needs his space since he says he wants time for us to rebuild and to learn to love again. Even though it hurts to see him, I want to be there for him so he knows I'm not giving up on us. I'm scared that if we enforce no contact, that will push him away and he will eventually move on since he is the one who is unsure about us. What should I do to win him back?
