Fitgirl_xO Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Hey guys. Just confused fitgirl again So after reading what many of you posted in my last thread, I decided to attend a party my crush was attending as well. We've been pleasant to each other at the gym, saying hello. I caught him staring at me a few times, but nothing major. I decided after an entire evening of him placing himself in my view, running into each other, talking a bit to just be upfront & blunt. I told him if he's single we should go out. He said "I'm dating someone." I said that's fine if you're ever single look me up. He said i will, smiled. His body language was open, not guarded like someone who is uninterested would do. He smiled at me and even after I went back to my friends to play darts he kept placing himself towards me, so we could easily see each other. He left 45 minutes before I did. A group of my BFFs friends wanted to grab breakfast and invited me since she ditched me for her part time makeout buddy so I went with them. My crush was sitting in the parking lot & as soon as the car I was in started to pull out he whipped out in front of us. He was alone all night & alone in his vehicle too. His body language confused me. He's dating someone but didn't seem to mind staring at me, talking closely to me when we did speak and keep his body towards me and open. Is he just another douche in a sea of douches? I'm on a dating break but since Friday this has been tugging at my mind.
Southern Cal Dude Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Just because he's dating someone doesn't mean he's going to stop finding someone attractive. He said he's dating someone. It came from his own mouth. He's not going out with you. 1
ThaWholigan Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 He likes you so he's keeping his options open - standard practice. Hence why his body language was open. Maybe he will holler when he is single. He's seeing someone so he's not gonna do anything about it. 1
Million.to.1 Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 You did everything right. Sounds like he is interested for sure. He may or may not be dating anyone though... he may have just felt the need to say this so he looked more attractive or even just a polite way of saying he's not interested.... If he is, then maybe having a "damn! where were you a month ago when i was single" thing. I've asked a guy out and he was seeing someone and he said no, but later (years later) revealed he was kicking himself he had to decline. regardless, there is nothing much you can do at this point. Ball is in his court. 1
Author Fitgirl_xO Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 Not entirely what I'm asking. Why didn't he completely shut me down or at least act less intrigued? Why would he sit in his car alone till I left? That's more what I'm getting at.
Author Fitgirl_xO Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 Thank you for the replies. I was wondering if I was reading too much into him being interested. The entire night I had to turn men down (I had 5 guys ask me out in the span of an hour) and when I turned them down there was ZERO confusion with my body language. I turned away from them, looked at anyone else & showed no interest in continuing a conversation. I tend to think FAR TOO MUCH. Sagittarius women

Obviously he can't make a move on you, but this is probably the most he can allow himself to do. 2

Maybe my break for contest prep from dating is a good thing 1
