SmithJ Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Hi, I was with someone for 4 years and we were completely inseparable but then I started having feelings for someone I worked with (purely sexual) and we ended up going on a work night out and got completely drunk, we were the only ones left in the cab and he asked me to go into his flat and stay over. I seriously considered it and when he leaned in for a kiss I just couldn't do it, I just felt too guilty and went home to my boyfriend. Not long after that we split up, purely because I thought that the grass was greener and I wanted to go out and have more fun without feeling guilty. At the time of the break up I was fine but then about 6 months later I was devastated and wanted him back, I was so hurt and really regretted calling it off (as I still do now 5 years later) but by this time he had met someone else and they are still together now. I'm just saying think about your decision very carefully as when you have broken someone's heart nothing will be the same again and will probably be unfixable. Hope everything works out for you 1

Me and the ex are meeting up tonight, he says he wants to see me one last time - but after that he cannot see me, or speak to me ever again as it is too hard. The thought of this makes me feel physically sick. Argh. Being deleted off facebook has already happened.... haha. He says it is too difficult to be reminded of me. I really really hoped in my heart that we could still be in contact, as 7 years is a massive massive amount of time to give up completely on. But it seems it is what he has to/needs to do. Meh. I will update you on the situation after tonight.

For goodness' sake, haul your dignity up from your bootstraps and tell him to go phukk himself!! Who the hell does he think he is, calling the shots like that? To hell with him - just don't even turn up! How and why did he contact you in any case?? Why hadn't you blocked/deleted him? Good grief, why the hell do we bother giving good advice anyway?? What are you, hun - a masochist?!
