Author Woggle Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 Besides the obvious issues is that even though is far from a spoiled rich girl type I am a hard boiled and gritty kind of person and she is not. Her nice and good upbringing shows while not just my childhood but the fact that I lived on the streets of NY before they cleaned things up for much shows. It's part of who I am. I am not saying that is a bad thing because her upbringing sure did a lot more for her than mine did for me but sometimes I think it clashes.

It is not our environment makes who we are. It what we focus on. My father was abuse to me, I was hated because I wasn't white so I got beat up. People picked on me. But those things are not what I am. Those things were for me to learn and grow and appreciate the beauty of life. My father's side of family is full of jealousy, drama and hate. But that's not who I am. I'm far from them because I consciously rather focus on love, helping others, etc. 1
