LONG: she broke up with me, don't know why. Help a guy with a broken heart.

 

About a month ago, a girl that I really liked, broke up with me. We were very close, we only new each other about a month, but it felt like we had been together for a long time. We were able to share are feeling no problem, but then it happened. She gave me the "I need some space" speach. She told me she didn't want to break up with me, she just wanted to take things slower, and spend a little more time apart (we both had very busy schedules, and I could use some time to). One night, she had one of her so called friends come over just to talk to her. Thats what she told me. I couldn't stand now being with her, and I suspected this guy at her house was just to use her. I drove 20 minutes to here house out of love, but she didn't want to talk to me. I stood in front of her house for hours, but she wouldn't talk to me. One of her friends called me telling me that I was scaring her, and that I should leave. Her friend ended up telling me that she was dating this guy she had over. I just don't understand why she couldn't tell me instead of acting like we still had something. I was crushed. Devastated, I didn't want to live. We didn't talk for about a month, but one day in math class she came and sat by me. We didn't talk, she just sat there. I thought she wanted me back. I started calling her, but she wasn't interested. I didn't ask her out, I just told her that I still cared about her, but she didn't say she still cared about me back. She isn't going out with this guy now, and I don't understand what is going on. I asked her what went wrong between us, and she said nuthing. If there is nuthing wrong, we would still be together, or thats what I think. I still wan't her back with all of my heart, but I can't figure out why she doesn't like me any more. When the relationship first started out, she kept saying she was afraid to fall in love, but it was to late, I feel in love with her. I still want her back but don't know what to do. She is all I think about and not being with her is destroying my life. My grades are dropping, my parent can tell im deeply depressed, and I don't have the motivation to do anything anymore. She was prefect, sweet, sensitive, smart, beautiful, you name it she was perfect. I don't know what to do please help a guy with a broken heart. Also, this girl was my first kiss. My first hug, and my first time. She was really sumething special to me.

You are an amazing special person who is hurting devastatingly so much by someone who is no longer interested in sharing her life with you. You may want this but she DOES NOT .

 

You have a long road of recovery of grief and pain but PLEASE spend many MANY hours reading ALL these posts here and you will FIND that MANY people have been crushed and destroyed by thoughtless partners. Here and ONLY here can you spend hours and a giant light bulb will finally click and you will say " Oh my God I love the advice here !.

 

Now you MUST get over your loss and that takes many forms....you must go through the pain...there is NO way around it . I went through the deepest dark depressive thoughts where maybe dying was easier than feeling this....but I said NO ! and you must take this one minute...one hour...one day at a time where you have not thought about her.... for 40 minutes...4 hours ...4 days...Its been along time and I am not at the 4 hour stage yet...still in the hour increments.

 

This is the toughest thing for you right now but PLEASE read this section and all the others....one by one and read until your brain cannot read anymore then later read again . It is TRUE therapy for free ! And my friend you are going to need precious help so you can love yourself again and the sound of the birds chirping outside is a pleasant one
