mammasita Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 He wants to go out Saturday to a local amusement park, we both have passes. I LOVE amusement parks and roller coasters. BUT.....there is nothing as far as attraction or spark that I feel for this man, and he tries. We went to the movies last weekend and he did the arm on my leg thing, I even kissed him at the end of the night when he dropped me off to see if I would/could feel something. He's good looking, he's sweet.....basically PERFECT on paper. Am I crazy for wanting to decline his amusement park invite because the thought of spending the day with him is not appealing to me? Am I crazy because he's perfect on paper, but the thought of him touching me or being intimate makes me cringe?
Emilia Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 No, I think you are crazy for forcing yourself to date someone whom you are not attracted to 5
Author mammasita Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 No, I think you are crazy for forcing yourself to date someone whom you are not attracted to LOL Im not forcing myself....yet. I would be if I go out with him this Saturday. 1
loveunlimited Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 you need to be fair, to the both of you, and cancel the date, because you're just not feeling it. If there's no spark or attraction there, don't go out with him just because he's male and a date. perfect on paper means nothing. Hitler was perfect on paper, better than churchill, but then...you know..... 1
Els Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Your thread title is probably one of the most compellingly good reasons I've ever heard for NOT dating someone, OP. 2
EasyHeart Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 That's always been my test for deciding whether to ask out a woman: "Would I rather go out with her or sit home alone watching TV"? The TV wins --- a LOT!

Emilia Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 and watch a show I despise. LOL I'm not sure I'd ever go that far
