So I'm 13 (I know, very young age, don't judge) and Ive had this crush on this girl for a while now. She is 9 months older than me (14), and I really like her. Now the reason I started this thread is so I can get advice on whether or not I should ask her to go on a date. Our current relationship is pretty mutual, though not the best. She's a pretty shy girl. We see each other at church every Sunday, though we don't talk often, because Im very bad at starting a conversation. She doesnt go to my school, so talking to her is a little hard. Especially since she doesnt have a phone. We've went to a few places, but usually with her siblings and some friends. Her family seem to really like me too. The reason im telling you all this is so I can get a very specific answer fitting these little factors. Now im going to her house for a hangout along with like 13 other people on june 29th. The reason im asking now is because her 2 older sisters are going on vacation in july, so shes going to be spending most of july with her parents, her little sister, and 2 little brothers. Giving me a chance to keep her company. For a month. Now I need your input. Should i ask her out? If so whats a good first date? Please answer seriously.

I think it's very sweet that you want to ask her out. Of course you should. You should do something fun. And, it feels so weird to say that, something that both sets of parents approve of. I imagine that would happen anyway, since neither of you are old enough to drive. What about mini-golf? Bowling? I'm an adult and I still think those are fun.
