I'm curious to know, do guys ever date women to help them decide whether to take their current relationship to the next level especially if they've had an unexpressed interest in the woman but have been in their current relationship a while.

 

1. If a guy is in a serious relationship and wondering where to take it is it possible he'll date someone else to help him decide his feelings if there's the opportunity to?

2. Is there any point in doing so? as nothing is likely to come out of dating IMO as there's a higher likelihood it'll be casual

3. What does that say about the guy and I guess the current relationship?

 

Won't ask about the red flags because that should be pretty obvious.

Some guys may test the relationship, yes.

I don't think they will "date" someone else, it will be more of a fling to see if they are doing right in their current relationship.

 

This is only a small percentage of men though, as most men wouldn't even know where to start in finding a girl for a fling.

 

I don't know if it's healthy or not. It's not fair on their current partner but sometimes it tells them what they need to know, either things are over and they need to end it or else that what they are lusting after was not worth it, they have the one.
