electricjw Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 So I posted a thread about a month ago where I went on a date with this girl and I thought everything went well, then the next day or two she ran into her ex and said that he kissed her like he meant it. They also broke up 3-4 months prior to this. Well after that I thought it was over, b/c she hardly txt me and after 3 days of trying to communicate with her, i just stopped b/c it was killing me. And before we went out on that date, we txted for like a week all day, then we talked on the phone for like 4days before the date for 2-4hrs every night. Well a couple of weeks go by after not talking to her, and I end up txting her again, and she said something like, "so now you wanna talk to me". So maybe I was reading everything wrong, but whatever. So fastfoward to now, and we've been txting a lot (everyday) and talking on the phone some here and there. Well tonight I'm supposed to go to her house, to give her some stuff for her car (transmission fluid, etc) but it seems like its going to be a date like atmosphere. I've been out of the dating game for a while, but I really like her and I want to make a good impression with her tonight. So considering we already been on a date (over a month ago), and it ended with a hug, so i'm thinking about kissing her tonight. But should I try to initiate physical contact before then, like holding her hand, or something else (need ideas), then kiss at the end of the night (if not sooner). I know I gotta pick up on the signs she is giving me, but I've been very wrong before on that haha. So any advice on helping make this a success? I get so nervous, i just want to get it over with and just relax haha. Also she has a tongue ring, so I was thinking of saying something like, "I've always wondered about those tongue rings, and what they felt like...." and then go for it. I forgot, the hardest thing for me is that she is taller than me too, so that presents a challenge for going for the kiss. I'm like 5'6 - 5'7, she is 6ft.

Then you got in touch with her again and now that she has no other options, she is happy to see you. For a while at least, until something better comes along of course. You are trying to make a 'good impression' Do you have 'Welcome' tatooed on your back?

What makes you think it is going to be a "date like" atmosphere? It sounds to me like you are just her errand boy, bringing her transmission fluid.

I was gonna play baseball so I couldn't but she didn't want to come by bc parents were home......so what does this mean if she didn't like me?
