mfleck91 Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I'm a straight guy, 21, and recently dumped. I've been trying to get out an meet new people and talk to women, but a pattern ha popped up. Probably 80% of the gay men I meet make it known that that want to sleep with me. I don't have any experience like that with women. I suppose I take it as a compliment, my self esteem took a hit when me go left me and this gives me a bit of a boost. I'm just a bit confused, I'm obviously straight yet I get hit in by more men than women. Are women just not as forward as gay men or is there something else going on?

They probably think you are gay or curious just be being around them and available to hit on. Of course women aren't as forward. Men always want sex. And gay men like to try to get straight men.

I live in a very gay friendly city and my friend used to get hit on all the time by gay guys, but not so much women. But once he got himself out there and started talking to women more, he was on fire. Women and gay guys pretty much have the same taste in men.
Author mfleck91 Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 It's not like I go out and actively hang out with predominately gay men. I usually meet them through a mutual female friend. When I say I'm obviously straight, I mean that when I meet them through a mutual friend, my friend has already told them a bit about me including that I'm straight..... And I guess I wouldn't fit any stereotypical gay tendencies. Had a long term girlfriend, I talk to and about women, like roughing it outdoors, etc.
TaraMaiden Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 When straight women meet a really hot, good-looking gay guy, they kinda feel that half an hour with them, they'd soon convert him to 'straight'..... maybe gay guys feel the same about straight men....
