overseas2004 Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 HELP PEOPLE Ok so I met this guy and I feel alot of chemistry between us. I work with him but in an obscure kind of way. He is a construction engineer in a company. I am monitoring the project for a big international organization. I am not his boss, but he has to be kind of answerable to me. I ask around, find out he is not married, they dont think he has a girlfriend. Great. Not only that but they (meaning co-worker) tells me, he told me you were really gorgeous and he asked if you were married/single. Even better.... The other day we go to see a construction site together (part of the job). He sends his driver to pick me up and then he takes over and drives me to the site. Finally we are alone. When we get there, the foreman invites us for a drink and my love interest says he is too busy. On the way back to the office he asks me "do I want to stop for coffee".... Yes... we stop. Ok so we have coffee together. He asks me how old I am. I am 37. I ask him the same "he is 42". Then he says is that too old? I am asked him too old for what? He blushes and just repeats the question. I let him off the hook and say 'no its not". Ok so then, he mentions the park and going there for a long walk but no specific date. Then he mentions his house on the coast and god willing I will have the opportunity to go there with him. When we get back to my office we do not have a firm date set. I get out of the car and he says goodbye, see you soon... done. OK SO WHAT IS THE DEAL????? That was two days ago and I havent heard from him or seen him since.. PS He was not nervous at all during this whole time.
new2dating Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 The same thing just happenned to me and he ended up calling... It seems that guys are just on a different time scale than women. As soon as the interaction is over, they forget about it and go on with their lives. But I would say that he is definitely into you... hang in there.
Author overseas2004 Posted October 12, 2004 Author Posted October 12, 2004 Boy that is just a phrase everyone is throwing around allright. HE IS NOT THAT INTO YOU.... Maybe you are right... Good luck to you if that is how you explain everything though. Thanks for the advice. Regards,
