I just received a call from a "BLOCKED caller" and I answered without giving any thoughts to it.

Then a male voice said hello.

Him : Hello?

Me : hello?

him : hello? (I thought I heard my ex's voice at this hello)

me: ya?

him : hello?

me : helloooo??

then he kept quiet and I could hear some background noise which sounded like water/small waves..

I said hello a few times and realized he didn't want to say anything so I ended the call.

Now I feel a little crappy. The thing is I deleted my ex's number without blocking it. However we are staying in different countries now after he found a new job at somewhere which is supposedly better.

We've been in complete NC since mid Nov last year. I feel so curious now, I can almost swore what I heard was his voice. So tempted to check his facebook to see whether he's still together with the girl he left me for after 7 years together.

Block and delete this number.

let it go.

he was messing with you - whoever it was.

Good job hanging up.

Haha I never memorized his overseas number, I remember only his local number that he only uses when he's back (less than 3 times/year).

I deleted all his numbers few months back so I can't block that number that he uses now because I don't remember what it was!

I wouldn't have given a **** if I wasn't as vulnerable (emotionally) as I am now as I'm through a major stress now.

I NEVER answer calls from private numbers. I figure if it was important they could leave a voice message and if they don't leave one it obviously wasn't an important call. I occasionally get missed calls from a private number and I sometimes wonder if it is m ex reaching out but then I figure if it was they are going to do something a lot more substantial to get a response
