totallylost5040 Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Hi all, Just wanted to share something. In the midst of getting over my heartbreak. When I got dumped, it felt like, I wasn't needed or appreciated. To alleviate myself of that I went to volunteer and it does wonders for you. I signed up to volunteer. I've been volunteering and doing activities with kids that are terminally ill. If you can't get your mind off things, I suggest you do something like this. To see these kids who don't have much time in on this earth to smile and tell you thank you for spending just a LITTLE time with them really means the world to them and that they appreciate you and what you do so much. It'll give you a nice warm feeling and it'll put everything into perspective. This is tremendously helping me to cope and realize the bigger picture and ease the pain. I'll admit, a tear came to my eyes. I also listen to lots of music, it helps ease the pain as well. Getting into a zone while listening to music is very therapeutic. I know not everyone likes rap music but I listened to this song for a bit and it helps (watch till the end for the message and use it) Just though I'd share that with everyone.
