Girls, if you turn around to look at a guy?

I noticed that when I check out women, they sometimes turn back around and look at me back. I'm not sure if they (a) see me checking them out, because I try not to make it obvious, (b) turn to look to let me know I'm caught and to stop, or © are checking me out back.

Depends on her facial expression. If she's scowling she's telling you to go away. If she's smiling she's acknowledging that she noticed. If she's smiling AND flirty then she's checking you out.

I usually don't notice a facial expression. I look away or forward and avoid eye contact. I act like I wasn't looking. Its just weird how they look back also, because I try to make a quick look and I don't see how they see me.

You're doing it backwards... when she catches you, make solid eye contact and hold it, smile and don't turn away no matter what. If she smiles back walk over and pay her a nice compliment. If she's scowling just wink and don't worry about what she thinks. If she acts bashful and demure ask for directions or something to take some of the pressure off, and then talk to her. The only way you lose is by acting intimidated.

They think you are creepy and checking to make sure you aren't following them... or getting a tangent on your age... as in "ewww... that geezer is checking me out"...

You don't think it's even possible that a woman might enjoy the attention, find him attractive, and be flirting with the hope that he'll approach and ask her out?

RR, have you ever seen a man who meets with your complete approval? And if so, why didn't you green light him to propose and marry him?

I don't understand where it all comes from. Did you experience unspeakable abuse or something? Men and women are more alike than different––we're all human you know. Most of us [humans] respect others and do the best we can to treat people the way we'd like to be treated. Most people are trustworthy and have good intentions.

The OP is a young'un trying to figure out how stuff works. Don't make him feel ashamed for getting caught checking a girl out. It's perfectly natural.

No, women generally completely ignore men they don't find baseline attractive, and wouldn't even notice him checking her out unless he were leering or very obvious about it.

OP, it's a good sign if you catch them turning around to check you out. Salparadise's advice is good.

That's my point. If it weren't obvious, they wouldn't look back...

I've never, not once, looked back to see if someone was checking me out if I thought he was attractive. Looking back is a fear response... not a 'come get me' response.

...and lots of guys leer as their baseline. Especially after getting lots of PUA advice telling him to show 'sexual interest' ASAP.

OP, I'm going to suggest that something you are doing is putting them off.
