I love my boyfriend and he's a lovely lovely person but ever since my ex boyfriend broke up with me I can't stop thinking about him.

My ex boyfriend was a lovely person, we were going out 8 months and he was so in love with me... he showed all the signs, we were in a long distance relationship... Same as my now relationship.... Just recently I'm having dreams where he is in them and sometimes my now boyfriend is too.

I blocked my ex on Facebook and other sites and I changed my email and number after a few weeks when he broke it off cause I couldn't stop trying to talk to him as he wouldn't give me answers he sadi he would still love me but then went back to his ex who only live 5 minutes away.... They soon broke up and it didnt last.

I still love him and its killing me cause I should of forgotten him by now it was a year and a half ago we were going out we were always skyping etc

I feel like I really need him in my life again I miss him so much what the hell ami suppose to do to get over him I hate feeling like this

FYI my boyfriend friggin hates him...

He regretted his decision to leave his closer ex, or since she was closer....

Dreams are many things. It could be that since you miss him you dream about him. Some say dreams are the brains way of sorting out old stresses or the mess of the day, to allow a recovery. Dreams happen due to overthinking of a situation.

How do you get over it? Thoughts don't just go away, nor do memories. You have to force thoughts and feelings into their proper place. He wasn't right for you...unfortunately, love word is widely overused so quickly these days. He can say it, but his actions matter. They better show it. So, put that emotion behind you.

It creates false hope, as you think he "loved" you indeed.

Go out. Live life with your new b/f. Make memories with him. New memories can replace old memories(though not forgotten). Time. How you live your life now. What you do with that time, this matters.
