Delilah1623 Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I have always had a bad habit of holding on and trying to make things work for too long. How do you know when to give up and stop fighting for the relationship?

todreaminblue Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I have always had a bad habit of holding on and trying to make things work for too long. How do you know when to give up and stop fighting for the relationship? When it hits you hard enough and when you see why you shouldnt hold on any more............when your fingers are torn to shreds and the most painless way to deal with the cliff....is to let go..........death is inevitable that includes relationships that weren't meant to be....cant resuscitate them and thats for a reason...they arent meant to be resuscitated i also hold on...i have a never give up mentality..and sometimes it is good to have that mentality....i am a constant never giver upperer.....but sometimes no matter how hard i try ...i just cant make it happen...i deal with the sadness and fear of having failed and being hopeless and i move on....takes forever ....but it happens......best wishes...hugs......i have been there done that ...fingers are healed.........can't win them all.....deb
