It wasn't that long ago. We got back together in March then broke up again this month. Maybe you're thinking I'm still going over the break up that happend in January.

Yes. I'm sick of it. I've been reading my old threads and I actually feel dizzy!

That wasn't getting back together - that was 'stringing you along for the laugh'.

Please - quit this self-deprecating attitude, and get a grip.

becoming indifferent, doesn't make you a"cold hearted sour faced cow".

It's an exercise in self-preservation, a rebuild of dignity, integrity and self esteem.

You're not going to like this, and I'm not saying this to offend, but - this constant "poor me" attitude is a classic symptom of inverted Egotism.

It's diametrically opposite to "Look at me folks! Ain't I just swell??"

people don't take to a boaster very kindly....

Instead, this is a form of attention-seeking, in order to perpetuate the pain you're in, keep it alive through discussion - and make yourself the victim everyone feels sorry for.

It's still a form of egotism, though.

And in order to move on, you have to quit the behaviour.

Cease the pattern.

get out of the cycle.

Swing out and operate under new dynamics.

Quit this.

Stop.

No, I'm not feeling sorry for myself at all, and I'm not 'boasting' I'm just hurt and lost. If I was in a good place I wouldn't come on here. I like to be told, unlike some people on here.

I'm done, like I said, it's enough. I'm starting NC right now! Not tomorrow, or next week. NOW!

Yeah, I'll probably post about how I'm finding it hard, or when I'm close to caving. Or maybe I won't have to. I'm just going to take each day as it comes.
