Are there two kinds of stalkers - the ones who are struggling to cope after being dumped and keep an eye on their ex for a while, but realise their behaviour is a little crazy and stop, and those who simply don't have that insight? What are the signs that a stalker is dangerous as opposed to just a nuisance? I'd really appreciate any insights as a friend of mine is being stalked.
Roadkill007 Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 umm.... stalkers don't have to be an ex to be a stalker... an ex stalking you is pretty worrisome. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just like checking up on your online profiles or something, but actually stalking... Even if the stalker's not dangerous, it's mentally hazardous for the person being stalked, and should be addressed.
Author spiderowl Posted June 10, 2013 Author Posted June 10, 2013 Yes, it is stalking. Why do people become stalkers? It seems a red mist descends and they see they other person as still involved with them in some way and provoking them. It's a very scary change in a person.
