Loobyla Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Hi guys, So I went on what I thought was an amazing first date with a guy. We had been previously texting daily (morning and night) for about a month or so as he was working away although we hasn't previously met. On his return we went on a date for drinks- he initiated this and had been initiating texting. Conversation flowed and I picked up on lots of signs that he liked me..... We did end up sleeping together but I think as we had been talking and getting to know each other for so long that this wasn't such a big deal. Okay so here's the thing. Since our date he has been texting a lot less and has been very brief with the texting and nothing compared to how it was before. I am wondering is this because he is genuinely busy as he is home for a week then will be working away again for a month and is spending time catching up with friends and family or is he just not that into me? Advice please! I really like this guy, I have initiated time contact and he has responded but has left it hours before he does which is very unlike him and has been brief
KatZee Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I don't think you should have slept with him. Also, I think you're projecting what you feel for him, onto him. There are tons of stories about how women go on first dates, think it goes so amazing, only to never hear from the guy again. Even though you've been talking for a month, you two really have never met. And maybe meeting you in person showed him things about yourself that he isn't too interested in. Or maybe since you just gave it up he has nothing left to work for, so why bother? Or maybe he's just busy. Either way, I wouldn't continue reaching out. Let him come to you. 1
