Gravity Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Hey guys.......about 5 days ago i had an operation on my chest. The trouble is that now its quite swollen Have any of you got any tips to reduce the swelling.......its just i feel even a bit embaressed with the way it makes my chest look
tiki Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Call your doctor/doctor's nurse. Some post-operative swelling could be normal, but don't chance it. When is your post-op visit? And don't be embarassed, you just had surgery!
Matilda Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 You need to call your doctor's office, let them know you have swelling. Ask if the amount of swelling you have is normal after the type of operation you have had. Then if they say the swelling is normal, then ask them what they recommend to help reduce the swelling. Do not accept advice from anyone over the internet about this problem. The ONLY people you should accept advice from about this is the surgeon's office who did the surgery.
