I danced for 5 years ( I have been out for 8 months) I worked my way thru college and took care of my son without being on welfare and now I have a great job. I never did drugs in my club nor have I ever seen them, I worked at a very upscale club. The ones on TV are trashy anyway.

i've worked in smaller clubs and even there, no dancer i have known has had drug or alcohol problems. There have been customers who have brought them into the clubs but that is soon dealt with - and i think the obnly reason people do is because they have this media driven impression that dancers must be into that kind of rubbish, when they are far more likely to find that kind of girl at a regular nightclub!

If people think about it logically they have more to worry about when their bf/ dh goes to a regular nightclub where girls are drunk/ drugged (poledancing whilst drunk is nigh on impossible and certainly not attractive!) and will willingly kiss, fondle/ perform sexual acts/ have intercourse with men for the price of a vodka and coke all in the name of 'a good night out'! Most lapdancers i know have more self respect than that, but we are still the ones looked upon as immoral women!
