eddieboy Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Hi there guys well theres this girl i really like at the start of this year .. we found out tat we both liked each other and decided to stay just friends becos we knew realtionships dont last very long at our age (16 yrs old) but after few months of holding back .. we started to go out but only for a month cuz she feels guilty lying to ppl abt hw we were'nt actually going out So now we broke up but finding it hard to cope. We Both STILL LIKE each other but she has many reasons for us not to get back together . we need some suggestion I like her and i dont want to leave her but at the same time i respect her reasons n decisions. I find it hard to be just friends wif her again any suggestions guys ??

Friends don't "like eachother very much". Either date, either forget bout her for a while. You'll see after that if you can be friends. Friendship is rarely based on mutual attraction. It's more based on common system of values, common hobbies, common lifestyles and convictions. And right now you don't know this. When I was 16, friends with a guy meant I gave that guy the carte blanche to possibly date him.
